GEISHA

Las geishas son parte fundamental de la historia de Japón. Se trata de artistas que se han encontrado presentes a lo largo de toda la historia de esta cultura, sin embargo, el período con mayor presencia de geishas fue durante los siglos XVIII y XIX. 

Por lo general, su trabajo es asociado al comercio sexual, sin embargo, dicha concepción se encuentra muy alejada de la realidad de las geishas, quienes poseen un estilo de vida y educación bastante elevado y particular. Una geisha comienza a prepararse desde muy pequeña para convertirse en ello, sin embargo, muchos son los mitos que se han creado en torno a ellas debido al gran hermetismo que se ha mantenido a lo largo de su historia.

 Geishas are a fundamental part of the history of Japan. These artists have been found present throughout the entire history of this culture, however, the period with the greatest presence of geishas was during the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries.

Usually their work is associated with sex, however, this concept is far removed from the reality of the geisha, who have a lifestyle and education rather high and particular. A geisha starts preparing from becoming too small for this, however, there are many myths that have grown up around them because of the great secrecy that has been maintained throughout its history.
